How the Check Works
This check examines the import settings for sprites in your project. Initially, you need to specify options on a per-folder basis.
The check operates as follows:
- Folder Inspection: For each specified folder, the check inspects the import settings of the sprites within that folder.
- Settings Verification: It verifies whether the import settings match the provided criteria, ensuring that sprites are configured correctly.
- Issue Identification: If any import settings do not align with the specified criteria, the check logs them as issues.
When to Use This Check
- Quality Assurance: To ensure that the import settings for 2D art assets in your project are correctly configured, avoiding potential issues with sprite rendering.
How to Use the Check
- Specify Import Profile: Create a Import-Settings Profile and set a configuration for your use:
Create → Sparrow → Project Verification → Import-Settings - Folder Configuration: Specify the folders containing the sprites you want to inspect. Set the import settings criteria for each folder.
- Perform Checks: Call the appropriate methods to perform checks on the import settings of your sprites.
